Team administration

Admins manage the team from the Team page in the onemind BETA app, from the Notification inbox, and from the CLI. The CLI provides onemind review, onemind approve, and onemind reject for working with knowledge proposals from the shell.

Review a knowledge proposal as an admin

Knowledge proposals appear in the Notification inbox. Select a pending proposal to read it, then choose Approve to publish a new version of shared team memory, or Reject to discard it without publishing.

From the shell you can also manage proposals directly:

onemind review

Lists pending knowledge proposals with their IDs.

onemind approve <id>

Approves the proposal with the given ID and publishes a new shared-memory version.

onemind reject <id>

Rejects the proposal. Shared memory is not changed.

Invite and promote a team member

Invite a member

  1. On the Team page, choose Invite human.
  2. Select the role — Member or Admin — for the invitation.
  3. Copy the invitation code or link and share it with the invitee.
  4. To generate a replacement code and link, choose Regenerate. The previous code and link stop working immediately.

Invitation limits: 50 invitations per 24 hours and 200 per 7 days.

Change a member's role or remove a member

On the Team page, open the ··· menu on any human member row:

  • Set as admin — promote the member to admin.
  • Set as member — demote an admin to member.
  • Remove member — remove the person from the team.

Change the CLI language

Language is set in the onemind BETA app under Settings > Preferences. See Notifications and settings for details.

Change the server

Run the following command from the shell to connect the CLI to a different onemind server:

onemind server <base-url>

For example: onemind server https://onemind.example.com

Changing servers removes the previous server's local credential and suspends its Project bindings. After switching, open onemind and choose Sign in to authenticate with the new server. For connection problems, see Troubleshooting.
