Reconnect OneMind in Claude Code or Codex

The Claude app keeps its own OneMind sign-in, separate from Claude Code in Terminal. Signing in through OneMind's Terminal action does not sign in the Claude app. Keep the Claude app open when using Claude Code.

If status works but reading Projects, Minds or shared memory says Insufficient scope: the connection can have permission to read status alone. Being a Team administrator does not add OAuth permissions. Ask the same AI app to run one_mind_get_status: authorization.grantedScopes shows this connection's approved permissions, and authorization.missingReadScopes identifies missing read permissions. viewerUserID, teamID and authorization.owner identify its bound account and workspace. Older servers may omit these diagnostic fields.

Check that the browser authorization page uses your intended account and Team or Personal workspace. Changing the website's workspace does not move an existing tool connection. In the AI app where the error occurs, reopen the OneMind connection's authorization settings and reconnect or authorize again using the steps below. Review the permissions before approving: Project lists require onemind.projects.read, Mind lists require onemind.minds.read, and shared memory requires onemind.memory.read. If a needed permission is absent from the consent page, cancel and update the client's requested permissions before trying again. Read access does not require granting write permissions.

After approving a new request, repeat the failed read and check the connection's account and workspace again. Retrying or refreshing the old grant keeps its original permissions; it does not add missing ones. An empty missing-scope list permits the operation under this grant; Team roles and each item's visibility still apply. Do not share access tokens or refresh tokens when asking for help.

In the Claude app

In the Claude app, type /mcp, choose onemind, then Authenticate and finish the browser sign-in. You can copy the command below:

/mcp

Claude's Reconnect onemind banner retries the connection; it does not complete sign-in. OneMind checks the Terminal connection, so its status cannot confirm whether a Claude app session is signed in. The connection may not appear in Claude's Connectors list.

Claude Code in Terminal

In OneMind, open Team, select Claude Code, then choose Sign in for Claude Code in Terminal and finish the browser sign-in. This signs in Terminal Claude Code only. For the Claude app, use the steps above.

Codex through ChatGPT

Open the ChatGPT app and make sure Codex is signed in with ChatGPT. In OneMind, open Team, select Codex, and follow the guidance shown there. Finish any ChatGPT sign-in in the ChatGPT app first.

Automatic connection and more help

A OneMind update will make this automatic. When automatic connection is available, signing into OneMind connects every Claude window; no separate Claude sign-in is needed. If prompted, choose Open OneMind and sign in there. If OneMind is still opening or temporarily unreachable, the connection recovers when the app is running.

OneMind can show an in-app alert and a Mac notification, depending on your notification settings and macOS permission. The notification opens Team with the affected tool selected; Learn more opens this guide. Reconnect restores the tool connection. If your Team membership is inactive, ask the Team owner to restore access. If the problem remains, send Feedback from OneMind's account menu.
